These forest clearings are home to Forest Elephants, who play an important part in the region's ecosystem. Looking to supplement their diets with salt, the forest elephants submerge their trunks deep into the mud to access nutrient-rich deposits below the ground. As they dig, they uproot new trees and plants, ultimately creating and maintaining these vast jungle clearings.

Caverns were created for the production and mining of this salt. It was an important economic export and a major element in the region's religion. As a result, its production process and location were hidden and heavily protected. A secret so well kept that it died alongside the few who ever knew of them.

Nanobots designed for increasing crop yields have mutated. To support their rapid population growth, they've fused with trees, maximizing growth conditions while using the energy they produce through photosynthesis. The result is a connected network of intelligent organic and inorganic megastructures.

A planet shrouded in clouds. Although the species of this world prefer the low light environments they evolved within, they've constructed towering spires to support the crops that feed their growing population. These spires mirror the construction and integrity of the of thriving giant trees that dominate the landscape, creating an organic and mechanical canopy above the clouds.
